[Title] NGS analysis in precision medicine: liquid biopsy and cancer immunotherapy

¡¡

[Abstract] Genomic mutations are the key features in identifying the cause of genetic diseases including cancer. The advent of Next Generation Sequencing technologies enabled us to inspect the genomes of our interests within a few days at a low cost. Based on the technologies, the future medicine will be highly persomalized to the genomic characteristics of each patient, and the treatment efficiency will be greatly improved including diagnostics and targeted therapy. In this talk, I will introduce the role of bioinformatics in precision medicine, especially with respect to the NGS-based sequence analysis. And two main challenges in diagnosis and treatment of cancer, liquid biopsy and cancer immunotherapy, will be described with detailed procedures.
