ABSTRACT

Our public health and medical system have taken the biggest burden of the present crisis and is also expected to face the biggest wave of innovation. The center for ASSIST was launched late last year to cope with COVID 19 pandemic of which 4th spread is still ongoing. It supports the public health system with IT-based technologies, AI program to simulate infectious spread and a contact tracing system. These are applied to facilitate present transition of anti-pandemic policies in the level of the country and individual organizations. In addition, the center works on contactless diagnosis and medical care, which can be adopted in the next epidemic crisis. This project is based on the transition of government funded researches in recent 10 years especially regarding infectious diseases. The evolution of those research programs has led the field application of novel technologies and some helping the present control of epidemic.
