Title:¡¡Understanding tumor immune microenvironment of colorectal cancer

ABSTRACT :

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a major cancer type with high mortality. Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy is approved for the treatment of CRC with high levels of microsatellite instability (MSI- H) with high tumor mutation burden and heavy infiltration of immune cell. However, the response rate of ICI in CRC with MSI-H has been reported to 50% in many clinical trials. Single cell genome analysis technique provides information on the proportion of major cell types and their gene expression profile. In particular, rare cell types or epigenetic regulation related to CRC can be investigated at single cell level. In this study, we analyzed immune and stromal cells in CRC at single cell gene expression level to understand the intercellular interactions related to immune response.
